Last one I went to was with Yngwie. I wore ear plugs and my ears still rang for three days. Great show, but I think some of these shows need to drop the volume a little bit.

Luke is a great addition to the lineup. There will be lots of Beck inspired licks when he is on. Different from the other two in a way that will add a lot to the show. Hopefully he does some vocal tunes as well.

Too true. The G3 in '07 with Petrucci, Satriani and Paul Gilbert was stupidly loud. Definitely the loudest show I've seen, or at least up there.

Hope they come around US East Coast...even though I'd much rather be in either New Zealand or Australia! This should be pretty awesome! One little thing to make this absolutely amazing would be to have Andy Timmons instead of Mr. Vai...no disrespect intended as he is a monster...just for me that would be such a cool lineup!

It'll be killer having them down in Aus again, 06' tour was beautiful, but eager to see the prices for this one........

Interested to see this lineup work together in the jam.

And also, Im going to join the "turn it down" bandawagon. The 06' tour was the loudest show Ive been to, ever.

This should be a barn burner, and I am looking forward to seeing Luke. The last one I saw was also with Yngwie, 4th row center at the Beacon.I hope you guys are not younger than me as I had no problem with the volume, or maybe at 50 I am going deaf lol.

Sorry man. I am currently 37. I was early 30's for that concert. I have excellent hearing. It was beyond loud! Like I said, I was wearing plugs and still had ringing ears. Yngwie had to most piercing high end in the world. I winced when he hit some of his high notes... again, I was wearing plugs!

Maybe at your venue they had some volume restrictions. I was in Winston-Salem for that G3. The funny part is when they sang (Yngwie sang Voodoo Chile). Not a word to be understood. Like Cookie Monster with a bad phone connection.

Best sound mix I have ever heard was Trans Siberian Orchestra. Loud enough to hear everything, soft enough to take the kids to and not worry about hearing damage.

We need an EB3 state side. To be one of the three you need to endorse at least the strings but endorsing the guitars would be even better! :D

SOunds like I need to plan a vacation! I've always wanted to go to both Australia and New Zealand. I'm with you BP on Vai...I just mentioned what I would love to see personally. Luke was a huge influence on Andy as he said himself, and these 3 musicians really are all about the memorable melodies and singing quality on the guitar. Andy is absolutely a monster...any of you guys heard his new album covering Sgt. Peppers in its entirety as a three piece??? It's absolutely mind blowing!
