Hey Guys, I just bought a new Luke 3 about a week ago and just noticed that visually the neck humbucker seems to be on backwards - using the screw heads as a reference.

There isn't another one close by where I can go and compare the sound.

98% of the pics online are with the screw heads closer to the actual neck.

Thoughts? (attaching pic)

I did call EB/MM yesterday and the guy on the phone just asked me "well do you like the way it sounds?" ss:(
or "you can send it in but it will take 3 to 4 weeks round trip" and I would need to pay for the shipping to the factory.

FYI - this is my first EB/MM. It's a bit out of my character of older, relic'ed type guitars but I am loving the neck and feel of the instrument.

Hello and welcome to the forum. The neck pickup is upside down. Unscrew it and rotate it, then screw it back to the guitar.

Thanks for the reply Tollie.

I flipped it around and presto. Before switch positions 2,3, and 4 didn't sound that different from each other but not I have a versatile sounding guitar that can cover lots of ground!
