Help! Luke 3 HSS RF Noise, pops and crackles

Just go my Luke III last week and have some problems.

Picking up RF Noise/radio station and also getting pretty load popping noises.

Does it with volume up or down and doesnt do it with any of my other guitars, also tried changing battery.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

Give the customer service folks a call on Monday and let them help you out. Can't say I've heard that issue before.

CS will be able to help you out as beej stated, kind of a Spinal Tap problem when they played the Air Force base.

Not quite as bad a the Spinal Tap problem but close

Think I've discovered the problem.

Although I used the same guitar lead I've always been using (planet waves) with my other guitars, as part of some deduction thought I would try another lead, so dug out an old Klotz lead that I've had for over 20 years and which has been used and abused and low and behold no noise!

Found that it slotted better into the jack socket than the Planet Waves one so maybe it wasn't connecting to the pins properly.

So thanks for responses guys I'm off to shred :-D
