Luke and Luke III ???

Do they still offer the original LUKE with the EMG pickups? Does the Luke III have an SMG option?
I'm confused.... obviously!

Yes - The Luke and the L3 are both available. The L3 comes with transistion pickups, the Luke with EMG's

Incidentally, the Luke currently available is actually the Luke II. The Luke I (which as also just called the Luke) had different EMG single coils, no tone control, and a Floyd Rose trem.

I received my first L3 (HH) in January. Love it! The Transition humbuckers are off-the-charts great.

I had an L3 with solid rosewood neck (HSS) it played like a dream! If it had a piezo I would have it at my house...

I own one of each, Luke 1,II and III and my next one will be another Luke II, without a doubt. I love the smaller body, and the combination of EMG 85 with the SLVs make it my go-to guitar.

That's interesting. I'll have to see if I can try a L2 out in person sometime. Not easy to come by locally.... Really enjoying my starry night. Haven't set it down or picked up anything else since it arrived.

I have the L3. It became my #1 guitar after one show and I haven't looked back. All my other guitars are kinda jealous. lol
