Did my eyes deceive me? We were at the Toto concert in Newcastle last night, which was quite the most awesome gig I've been to in years, if not ever!!!! The band were simply amazing and Luke was on fire. Anyway, the set started with Luke appearing with none other than a Dargie for the first two numbers, before going back to the old faithful black sparkle for most of the set. The prototype BFR was on for a number, and a radience red (standard, non coloured headstock) towards the end. But for the encore, and Africa, Luke appeared with what I can only think was a Bahama Blue BFR. I was 23 rows back so couldn't see any detail, but there definitely wasn't a sparkle so I doubt it was Blue Dawn. Whatever it was, it looked and sounded sublime. Glad I've got the order in. Just wondering if anyone at Manchester or Bristol was close enough to tell? Or if Luscious is on anytime soon whether he can confirm?

And if he is, thank you for an utterly superb night of entertainment. You guys were just brilliant, no other words for it, and Lee Sklar played beautifully and filled Mike's boots perfectly. Please, please come back up north in the UK for the 30th. You'd love Edinburgh....*subtle hint*;)

Luke's Bahama Blue Burst is actually called "Blucious".....part of the horns and back are blue sparkle. There is a pic somewhere on the forums of this piece.

Ya know, what is coolest of all is to see the brand new guitar models on the road and in full service so quickly. Heck, looking at Luke's rig for the 2007 tour, we have two BFRs, a Dargie, a PROTO, and then and very old favourite black sparkle.

Have these guys done the job well or what? Amazing! Well done guys!
