By the way
I changed pickup for EMG SLVX & EMG 85X today.
Though I think that the rosewood neck is connected with each other, the LUKE guitars as before is another thing.
A cool sound!
As for me, a guitar became more pleasant again.

did you power them with 18v too or still 9V?

9V power.
The X-series seems to be possible to 27V at the maximum.

I'd love to hear more of your thoughts about the EMG x-series vs. the regular pickups in the different Luke models you have.

is it easy to swap emg to emg x i've never remove the pickups and don't know how is ....
what is the more noticeable difference between std and x
does affect the "Luke" sound
more bass,mids or hight ?
more outpout gain ?

When I compare it with regular EMG, as for the X series, a response is early, and dynamic range feels wide, and a response more is early.
The response depending on the strength and weakness of the performance is great.
I think that it is the pickup that a good part of the active pickup was blended with passive pickup.
VLPF of the tone circuit is GOOD for a great response.
The wiring changed only a tone and changed some wiring.

"X"is SUPER NATURAL !!;)
