I would think so. Same woods, same bridge, same saddles, same tremelo. I'd guess there are more differences in appearance and in feel than in sound, between the two guitars. (Assuming an SL set of EMGs in the Silo Special, that is.)

You could get pretty close by installing a set of EMGs into a silo special tho rite?

Exactly...a couple of years ago I saw a Silo-go-EMG-Luke-set....and heard it directly against the Luke. For me, there was no difference in sound....however, I still don't like the EMGs that much ;)
