I'll admit to be now gassing a bit for an LIII, even though I'm totally happy with My Luke's I & II. So...seeing as I can't afford one, I have to tell myself, "many good tune played on an old fiddle". Nevertheless, I'll get saving. By the time I've saved enough i'll be able to buy a Luke 4.

I think his tone has improved so much with the passive pickups. I can hear details in his playing coming through now. Sort of that 'airy' quality that low gain provides, I suppose. Whatever it is, I think it's better.

I still prefer the sound of the EMGs. Always have. It's a personal thing I guess.
