Ok here's the deal. I have 2 Music Man Luke Is, with floyd and eveything.
One blue, completly stock with original pickups
One red, with a EMG SL20 set, since the previous owner ripped out the original pickups and put them in a different guitar.
Here is the deal, I know that the singel coils in the original Luke guitar are different from the ones in the SL20 set ( that were made for the Luke II ). But what I wanna know is if they are set lower or higher in the Luke II guitar than the original ones in the Luke I? When I set them at the same height, the singel coils in my red guitar sounds louder and has more bass than the ones in my blue guitar. Could if infact be that the singel coils in the Luke II guitars have their singel coils set lower to compensate for more output?
If anyone who owns both a Luke I and II could just check real quick, I would be very grateful!
