Guitar & Bass Interview from Oct. 2010

Lucious spoke from the new Luke III.

The body will be 1/3 larger than the Luke II, and a Floyd Rose Trem will be an option. Can't wait to see the first pics.

Big Poppa, is it right?

Larger body? Hmm..I like the looks of the Luke just the way it is now..but hey, let's just see. Can imagine he want something a bit different after playing the same guitar for 12 years.

sounds really interesting to me.

here is a quick translation of the interview:

G&B: you mentioned a while ago, that EBMM is working on a new version of your signature guitar - is this right?
SL: ah....(short brake), yes that´s right. there will be a new EBMM Luke III soon - besides the Luke II. she will be different from the other models.
the body will be about 1/3 bigger, she will have two humbuckers and the Floyd Rose will be an option on it.
this is more for the heavier styles of music.

G&B when will she be available?

SL: as soon as i got the prototypes and had the time to check them out and approve them. when they will be introduced....maybe at the winter-NAMM.

that´s all about the guitar in this interview.
the rest is about him and his new CD coming out.

Quite interesting! I am presuming that 2011 NAMM is gonna blow us all away...so much hints and ideas that have been mentioned, its gonna be GAS overload. This is also why I haven't been able to get a proper amp yet...I always go for the guitars hehe. So lets see the potentials: 25th anniversary Silo, chambered blackburst Y2D, Gamechanger, LUKE III...I need to go rob a bank haha!
