I think if I wasn't so in love with the Axis, the Luke...with the Rosewood neck might be my next favorite......Congrats on a great guitar!!!!

Single coil sound
Have you compare it with your Axis super sport?

Actually I haven't had the opportunity to try the two side by side yet. I will try to in the next few days and post back

I've played a few H/S/S Luke III's and I like them a lot. Lots of tones. And the boost is genius - always bothered me about single coils.

I agree Lou! The HSS with the preamp and boost is really amazing! No problems with the bridge being louder than the singles, and you can shred on the neck single as well.

I am going to LA next week and cannot wait to go to GC at Sherman Oaks or Hollywood to try these guitars out. They look great!
