Luke iii Neptune Blue question

Hello. I'm looking at a used Luke that is advertised as Luke iii Neptune Blue. But it had a rosewood fretboard. I thought all the Neptune Blue PDN Luke's were maple? Did some come in rosewood or is the seller selling a regular Luke?

Shhhhh, i don't want to spread the word on it if it's a good deal. Sometimes GC doesn't know what they have. I once bought a Mesa IIC+ from those lunkheads for $999 because they thought it was a Mark iii.

You could order either wood on the fretboard.

I just noticed if you scroll down and read the overview they mention damage from shipping which is reflected in the price. I guess that's why it seems like a good deal. Of course they're not showing the damage in the pic.

Not convinced it is neptune blue. Looks like a current BFR blueberry burst to me....

I have one in maple and one in rosewood.

Hard to tell if it is a neptune blue or not, mine our a lighter shade and you can see the mahogany grain.

Neptune Blue varied in lightness quite a lot. Some are almost black in a dimly lit room.

Did that, but I spoke with the store and they said there is a really bad crunch on the back. The guy on the phone was honest and said he wouldn't buy it.
