Morning gents!

I've been thinking of picking up a Luke III HH for a little while now but can't decide whether to go for a roasted or rosewood neck. I love the feel of the rw neck on my AL HH but I also like the brightness of the roasted necks.

I would be really interested to hear some views from guys who have played both.

They are a bit thin on the ground over here so it may just come down to whichever one is available.

Thanks guys, have a great weekend :)

I have both type of necks, and both the finished and unfinished roasted necks. Must say, I prefer the roasted necks. Never thought that when I only had the AL HH. Rosewood neck is still great, just wished it had a ebony or Pau ferro fretboard..

I would have to say roasted, while I like an all rosewood neck much prefer the standard oil/wax add roasted to it awesome!!

Thanks guys, seems like a lot of love for the roasted necks. I really like the look and feel of them too, but every time I play my Al with the rw neck I'm blown away. Either way, it's a great choice to have to make if you know what I mean.
