I've heard that with piezo bridge on Luke guitars you're unable to bend strings upwards with the tremolo arm, because the piezo installed on the bridge hits the body.
Is that true?
When you get the piezo on a LUKE, the guitar is set up with the tremolo flush against the body "dive-bomb" only- not floating like the regular LUKE. When you dive-bomb with the piezo tremolo, the strings naturally do not come in contact with the piezo saddles during some points of tremolo travel. It's just not physically possible with the way the system is designed. But then again, who wants to put a whammy bar on an acoustic?
It works perfectly with the magnetic pickups, and if you set it up to float a little bit you will be able to raise pitch, too.
