Hand Jelly!!!!LOL So let me get this straight---when you reach the upper echelons of guitar enlightenment(AKA Lucious,Carlton etc.) you begin to emit hand jelly that is much the same as the royal jelly emitted by the Queen bee?????:D

Actually...I believe this is manufactured in the "crotch factory".
Awaiting confirmation.

Due to the "Low Brow" level of humor displayed by kbaim I have just unsubscribed from this thread.

Luke played with his new toy tonight. He brought it out for the show opener, "Falling In Between" and for the next song (if memory serves), "King of the World".

I was hoping he'd play it more so I could get more of a contrast with the Luke II.

The impression I have is that it sounds very much like a Luke, but with more "oomph". I wish I could describe it better than that and say it had more mids, or a tighter bottom end, etc. etc.

My first guitar was a Luke. My second was an Axis SS. To compare the two, I would say that the Luke sings (or screams), but the Axis roars, like it has more balls. By which I don't mean that the Luke is not as good of a guitar; it just has a different sound. (I'm comparing the bridge pickups here. The Luke neck pickup and the Axis neck pickup are like totally apples and oranges.) Similarly, the one-off maple top Luke has a little more balls to it.

Maybe Aunty Lucious will chime in with his opinion and help me out here. I just don't have enough experience and "guitar-speak" vocabulary to adequately describe how this new guitar sounds.

But I like it. :D

And it looks killer.

I hope there are some other pictures of that concert floating around. Because even though you can't see a lot of the Dargie, that green looks killer.

I don't know the Black Sparkle Luke that he has is like his standard isn't?

Maybe the man will chime in when he gets the chance.
