Hey guys, Looking for some set up tips. Wondering about bridge height, neck relief, saddle adjustments. Right now I have the bridge tight to the body with no pull back room on the bar. I have 4 springs onstalled. What is the difference of 3 or 4 springs. Any tips on this would be great.

Also, has anyone ever put different saddles or nuts on the Luke.
I am also wondering what type of amps some of you are getting good tones through with your Lukes. Right now I am just using a Podxt thru a Tech 21 power engine. I am looking into either a mesa stiletto, Lone star, or getting an atomic for my Podxt.

today i gigged my luke through a koch twintone and it was absolutely stunning.
SC and HB sounds have been so great!
if i had known what EMGs in a luke do, i'd purchased a luke much earlier.

cannot give setup tips to the guitar. mine is perfect.

I've tried different saddles on the Luke. And I just did this with my Albert- replaced the vintage saddles with the solid (Axis SS style). I didn't like em- the 'zing' was gone with the solid saddles. (Less of a trebly ringing acoustically.)

So in both cases I went back to the stock vintage style and liked them better.

Hi Auge,

I'm glad you're enjoying the Luke. I tried to set it up before I sent it out to you. I'm not experienced doing this sort of thing, but I guess I got it right.

My wife and oldest daughter think it is the prettiest of the three guitars I've owned. :)

Aloha,
James

Regarding the saddles, if it's the screws popping out and rubbbing/interfering with the palm of your hand, you can get smaller screws. You're local repair shop probably has them.
