Sylvan has just released the live DVD from their "Posthumous Silence" album. Immediately recognizable is a Luke blue Luke with a natty headstock.

Nice find. I loved the lead tone! I have to admit I never heard of this band before and thought you were talking about Sylvan Learning Centers. LOL

Sylvan gets lumped into the Progressive Rock genre. I listen to a lot of that because it's interesting to the musician in me and I was really happy to see more people in the genre discovering Music Man guitars other than the JP.

haha same here i thought he was the new spokes person. or maybe he was opening the Steve Lukather center for children who can't read real good (brought to us by sylvan learning center)

nice one spud. thanks for the heads up. i love modern prog. into DT, porcupine tree, oceansize, pain of salvation, enchant etc. amongst others. of course, it isn't the only music i like. not by far. as long as it isn't nose bleed dance! :D

music tastes aside. dare i say it, i saw kylie on her last tour (yip, went with 'er indoors) and her guitarist was using a luke for most of the evening. amazing tone from it he had.
