Now if I can just find the right sized Allen wrenches to lower the saddles and set the intonation I'll know how much I truly like the guitar. Unfortunately, all the tools I have for my fenders, PRS’s and Ibanez don’t work in the Luke.:(

Assuming they are metric sizes I’ll have to find time to make it to a hardware store to buy a set since I don’t know the exact sizes. Anybody have those sizes handy? I didn’t find the info in the FAQ section.

Unlike my JP6 which had a perfect set up from the store it’s not the case with this Luke. However, that could be the fault of the GC guys who admitted they did a set up to make to bridge float.

The all rosewood necks are simply amazing. Check out my albums for pics of the JP6 with all rosewood neck. Each time I pick it up I tell myself....WOW!!! The Luke has a slight V shape neck to it, so if you like the feel then the all rosewood is a super bonus.

Update:

I got a set of metric hex wreches performed a set up and got the action just how I like it. It plays (and sounds) wonderful. The neck feels great but certainly feels different than my JP6. I have no problem switching back and forth as I'm always switching up with different guitars anyway.

There's a certain amount of thickness and sweetness in the tone. Stays in tune great with moderate tremolo use as well. What a great guitar!

Kudos to the EBMM manfacturing and QA processes.

luke with rosewood neck

I just bought the black luke with the rosewood neck from guitarcenter it was my second one the first one was the dargie II it was nice but the neck was twisted so I returned it and got the black bfr with the rosewood neck when I got home I noticed the neck had know adjustment to it I tried to take it back to guitarcenter but they just pissed me of so I called ernie ball and sent it to them and they put a new neck on it and I get it back monday and I was thinking if you had to adjust your sadles you mite need to check the neck really close because both of mine were made last year and the must have sit to long hot or something good luck but I love the luke I never played one before and I love it and good luck with yours
