Luke3 preamp swap

I have a 2012 Luke3 with the preamp switch on the tone pot. Any information about changing it over to the volume pot as it is with the newer models? anyone tried this?

I think I'd prefer it on the tone pot. Mainly because I use the volume pot more, and with the boost switch on there too I find the volume control a little too loose, there's not enough friction required to adjust the volume, and it's all too easy to knock the volume out of position. Yet the tone control is nice, it has much more resistance and a better feel when you use it.

I totally agree with this "easy to knock" feeling on the volume pot.
