Oz and beyond

Yeah I am looking forward to coming back to OZ. We had such a great time last time and di really well. so far I hear the ticket sales are great and we should sell out acoording to our promoter. Toto is doing 6 weeks and thats it for next year. OZ, Malasia, China and japan with Boz Scaggs. Boz was my first big time gig at 19 years old so this will be fun and I think we are gonna try and do some interplay with each others sets as I did alot of Boz's records. Who knows at this point. Too early to tell.

I will tour with my solo band May-Sept on and off. Starting in Europe and then summer festivals, Japan-asia ( hopefully Oz as well) in Aug-sept and hopefully some selected USA dates as well. I know NYC and LA will be on but I guess the rest depends on how the record doesand the budget etc.. or IF I can jump on a tour as an opener?
My band will have some familiar names but as I am still making deals I cant say just yet but they will be great players for sure. I will do stuff from all my solo records and some other surprises.
Once again, thanks alot for all the good vibe here guys. Happy holidays and God Bless

Lucious, sending positive thoughts your way so that record sales etc make an Aus tour a possibility!! It would be so cool to see/hear you do your solo stuff live.

Looking forward to Toto in March! (Massive Understatement.)

(PS My eldest daughter is coming to see Toto...she's hoping to hear her favourite song: "Jake to the Bone"! It's a nice change to see a 14-year old with some musical taste!)

Man, those clips sound great! And, I really love Trevor's clips on his myspace page too... I've got to figure out how to get involved with a record like that. It's nice to know you can still find new music like this. :)

Time to study for music history to the sounds of the various TOTO balads. LOL :)

And just in case anyone misssed it...we get a mention on the insert to the disc. "Thanks to all the Knuckleheads".

How cool is that!!???!!!

I've had the CD a week now, and it has blown me away. There's not a weak track on the album, and "The Letting Go" is incredible.

Stunning guitar tones too, you can hear the vintage stuff.

Great album - but who played on it?

Congrats Lucious!

This is REALLY a great album where every song is a league of its own!
I especially dig the title track and 'Tell me what you from me' with the to and fro between the Floydesque verse and that in-your-face chorus!

Looking forward to seeing you perform this stuff on tour here in Germany!

One thing though I have to criticize:

There is no information which musicians played on each track! Could this be a mistake from the record company?
I got my copy from Amazon Germany, so maybe the European version is different from the rest of the world?

Or am I missing something here?

My copy of Ever Changing Times arrived on Monday along with the new Toto live DVD.

On first listening, ECT is a great album, all strong songs and some great playing from the master. I'll get to know the songs more over the coming days but I can see this getting played a LOT! :D

Fave track at the moment is Ever Changing Times. The video for that is great as well.

I missed the credit list also ;)

Here is the answer:

Ever Changing Times credits and lyrics

Strange things happen these days. On the first Frontiers Records release of Lukather's new solo album Ever changing times the album credits and lyrics played hide and seek. If you don't like games like this you can surf straight away to the Ever changing times section, where you can download the PDF files.

Lukather: "The glitch on my credits for my record will be fixed soon. All credits and lyrics are on the MelodicRock.com Noticeboard page and will be on the new Everchangingtimes.com site by next week. Of course they are here on SL.net already.
Sorry about all this. I am bummed but the Japanese version has a seperate booklet that was left off the Europe release.
**** happens but the good news is the record is doing so well out of the box. Hope it keeps up!
I will check in when I can, Luke."
