M-Steels + D-Tuna - any issues?
Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anybody has tried the M-Steels on a D-Tuna equipped guitar. When the Cobalts first came out a grabbed a set and unfortunately they did not work well with the D-Tuna on my Wolfgang because they were so stretchy that the range of the fine tuner wasn't enough to compensate and so I had to pick either having it set up for playing in E or D, but not both. There were some threads about this here and EB confirmed with their people that it was due to the Cobalts themselves. Are the M-Steels like this as well?

I loved the sound of the Cobalts but switched back to Elixirs because of this. I've ordered a pack of M-Steels from a local shop so I'll post my results here when they arrive.
