So, I got a new MacBook Pro from Berklee and I love it.. but it's so fresh and new that I'm afraid that I'm beating it up too much! It's already got a somewhat deep scratch on the bottom of it! That was a total accident, and I remember how it happened.. but I'm trying to be careful with these.

According to older students, Macs are built like tanks and can withstand quite a bit of damage.

I know that some of you are Mac users.. how do you feel about this? How do you keep your Mac protected? I've seen people that have these plastic casings that they put on them, but I don't know if I should get that or not. Is it a waste of cash?

I'm a full convert now. No more Windows for me!

i dont use a case or anything like that. i figure the plastic on the outside is the case and frankly if the machine gets scratched its not as if its gonna stop working.

i have a padded bag i use to drag it from home to the car and to work. personally i dont worry about it.

I got a pelican case to carry my powerbook in. It's great, you can run over it with a car (not that I would acually try it). I switched over from a heathen machine:D Last year. I am a full on Mac geek now!
