for the record Mesa, or any other company NEVER include a speaker cable with a head. I've never seen it nor do they do it....

Bill Lawrence cables - $48 for 50 ft of cable and 10 solderless connectors (standard sized, or short for the pedal board). Cut em to size and presto.

They're low-capacitance and high-quality. Bill's have been around before George L's, they're just not well-marketed. I continue to plug the guy, but he makes unbelievable stuff. If you don't buy into marketing hype you can get some killer hand-made products (cable, pickups, etc.) at very low prices. If you want to buy more expensive stuff, you always have that option.

How's the Roadster working out for you? If you have a JP, what do you think so far? I'm considering going head/cab as opposed to heavy 212 combos. They're a chore to get around.

Thanks for the quick reply and pic! I'm definately going to check one out. I had the Lonestar combo and loved the clean and reverb, but it lacks the higher gain settings when needed. I'm looking to go head/cab this time because 212 combos at 100 lbs are too big. I researched the amp at their website and read through the owner's manual. Appears to be just what I'm looking for. I play a broad range of styles and own several different guitars and would like to have one amp to use with all of them.
Does the footswitch latch on the back as a tube protector (Mark series) or is there a metal bar across the back? The Mesa pics show an open back on the head. Thanks again!

The Monster Pro cables are great.
the nice thing about the higher end Monster's is they have directional signal and really do a nice job and producing a nice clear signal to maximize your tone... i can't believe i've played so long without using better gear.

There are 5 designs of 2x12 that have a similar appearance, the 3/4 Back, Rectifier, Roadster, Road King, and Stiletto.
I guess you mean the 'matching' Roadster 2x12. kthx.
