Someone help me, I've watched it multiple times and may do so again...

Sort of like an accident, you don't really want to see it, but you stop and look anyhow, and rubberneck until it's out of sight.

Wow. I'd like to meet the sound guy...

Well atleast they're gigging (and probably getting payed, laid, parlayed and hoorayed) it's a lot more than I can say about myself.

I'm in the same boat, but these are the first posted clips on this forum that actually made me feel good about my playing. ;)

I do have to give these guys some credit for having the yarbles to get out there and do that in front of people. Although, if the quality of their "groupies" is in line with their musical talent, I don't think I'd want to be a part of that magic

Did you notice from the video the only person viewable other than the band was a small child chasing a ball...there's atleast 20 feet of grass that's void of any human activity.... :D

I am really after acheiving the tone the guitar player gets on that solo. I think I have nailed the rhythm sound (CAE Pre-amp - VHT power amp into a Boogie 4x12" fitted with Vintage 30's), but the solo tone is tricky. I was thinking of maybe an old skool ADA-MP1 or possibly a Mesa/Boogie Triaxis? I dont think you can get tone like that with modelling, though I am happy to possibly buy a Line 6 Vetta 2 if that what it takes.

Also, to achive that kind of fluidity, I may have to invest in a new guitar, obviously EBMM. Whilst the Axis guitar is the obvious choice for me, I was thinking a Morse may give me more tonal options.

Any ideas?

Well all of the above but you have to use a cheap $2,50 guitar cord to make it happen.

My wife just saw that video and told me, "if only you could sing half has good as that guy"

When the guy walked in front of the camera I expected him to tell his son to "Pull that stage down and mow the lawn ! "

And the roady that goes up the the monitor and puts an ear to it to check the sound level...

Reminds me of a Old Spice commercial where there is a garage band doing a Foreigner cover "Hot Blooded" like these guys and there are 2 girls sunbathing.

One girl says to the other "He's gonna be famous" in a manner-of-fact way.

here is the link to the Old Spice Comercial

We used to be like the couple in the Old Spice Commercial.

Now instead of saying "He's gonna be famous" in a manner-of-fact way it is now

"He's gonna be working" in an unsure way.
