Tone, Check the GC's that have the Platnium Rooms, they seem to have them.

Hey, u talkin to me? NY
I checked out 2 HH AL's yesterday - a Fing Surf Green:D and Hot Rod Red. Is the Hot Rod Red color a very limited GC only run (like the 47 Hot Rod Red Axi produced a little while back)? Meaning that it's not going to be a standard color option.

They are tone monsters, very easy and comfortable to play and they are surprisingly lighter than I had expected. The Reflex felt a lot heavier. The RW neck was amazing as always! The large dot markers look awesome on the guitar especially on a RW neck. The one thing I was a little surprised to see was how the neck sat on the body, it wasn't as flush around the neck pocket as I'm used to with my JP6 and Axis guitars (especially above the bottom horn). I'm not sure if the RW HH AL neck dimensions were slightly different towards the higher frets than the original AL neck. Other than that small cosmetic thing, they are trully amazing instruments.

WHAT    NO PICTURES????

Sorry Glenn my bad, I ran out to the store during lunch and didn't even think about taking some pics. In between playing the guitars I was answering work e-mails on my BB and had to rush back to the office.

I know we probably won't see one in Halifax, so if any of you knuckleheads in Ontario see one for sale over there let me know. I'll buy it when I'm there in February.

Just my personal preference but, yes I felt much more comfortable with the AL. They are two completely different guitars though. So it's not a true apples to apples comparison.

Hot rod red is a gc exclusive and limited. And yes, reflex and AL HH are two completely different feels and tones.

I'm really torn between the Reflex and the HH AL

The AL shape is indeed very comfortable.

Having said that, I'm truly happy with guitars I have now

I absolutely love my ASS with all rosewood neck as well and this one has the Piezo that I can't get on the reflex or the 2HAL

so I need to control my gas attack :p
