I am delighted with my Stingray, but it displays the standard weakness of the G string being slightly quieter than the rest. In fact the A and D are also louder than the E. I note that the magnets are higher for the A and D to cater for the expected variation in the height of the strings due to the fingerboard camber.
I'd like to lessen the difference by either raising the G and E or pressing down the A and D. Is this possible without damaging anything? Has anyone ever done this?
Any help welcomed
Thanks
