I didn't know this guy until yesterday when I saw this video :

In the comment of this video, Magnus writes : I dedicate this song to Steve Morse, one of my absolute favorite guitar players and a huge inspiration
 
Hadn't heard of him before. That first tune is very reminiscent of Steve Morse, killer playing.

Love the blue/blade faded Morse! I'd totally order one of those.

Nice! That first video is Dregs all the way...
I was already a BIG fan of Steve Morse & the Dixie Dregs back when he won Guitar Player magazines 'guitarist of the year' award 5 years in a row...
The only thing that stopped him from winning again was a kid named Eddie... ;)

I think they actually changed the rules. They elevated him and Jimmy Page to their newly minted "hall of fame" and didn't allow anyone to vote for the hall of fame members. Not that Eddie didn't deserve it, but I think Steve coulda won a couple more years worth of awards.
