I have had my Majesty 7 for close to 1 year now. I have changed strings on it a couple of times now but recently noticed that my high E saddle keeps sliding away from the other strings. I have checked the posts and they are even. It seems to happen when I bend and it makes fretting difficult when it slides to the edge of the fretboard. Upon further inspection, it appears that the saddles are almost "huddled" in that every 2-3 strings are close together with a minimal space to the next grouping (ie. E/B, G/D/A, E/B are grouped). I have not had this issue in the past and it does not seem to make much sense since I have not changed much about the guitar.

So really two questions:

1. Has anyone had an issue with the high E saddle sliding away? Any tips on what to check beside post height?
2. Has anyone noticed that the saddles will group together and stop having equal spacing?

I am probably overlooking something very basic, but wanted to get some advice from the more experienced EBMM owners.

Thanks!

photo? This would help to understand the issue

You say the saddle slides ‘away’ and bends might cause it. Do you bend the high e string down towards the floor?

Hopefully you can see in these. There are gaps between a couple of the strings. I cannot figure out why the saddles migrate so much even at tension.

Sadly it depends if your intonation is best that way, but usually saddles are under the shield and it means they have more screw inside

I play in standard tuning with 9.5 to 54 on a 7 string. As I said before, this is only time I've seen this happen in the 1 year I've had the guitar.

Any suggestions? Should I take it to a luthier for a new setup?
