I have a majesty 7 string and it seems everything on the guitar is loud to the touch. Changing the pickups. The switches are very loud through the amp like clicking noises. And popping into each selection. And just tapping the guitar it is super loud like tapping the top of a live mic. It didn't seem to be like that when I first got it. It's strange. It plays great and perfect besides that. Any ideas Or anyone experience this too at all with the guitar? I thought it was supposed to be quiet with the game charger tech. In it. It's obviously louder with distortion

Could perhaps be a grounding issue? Not sure but I know who can help you, customer service. I'm sure they will get you squared away. And just for the record, the GC technology was incorporated for it's faster switching capabilities, not entirely sure that it was supposed to be quieter.

I sent it back to MM alteady for this. It hasn't changed. They said they replaced a tone pot. But it's so darn noisy when changing any setting. Clicks over the note being played when doing leads.
Do you have a majesty. Is it quiet when changing settings. Or do you hear clicking from the selectors.

For this, you're going to have to call customer support again. It could be many things, none of which we can diagnose over the Internet.

I would, however, try the guitar in a different environment with a different amp, though, just to rule out a grounding issue where you are.

Not really, but it's one of those things you want to rule out. Electrical issues can cause all kinds of problems.

Hi AJ. I've had this guitar in there twice. I really don't wanna send a 3rd time. Through billy. And you guys have been great support. But something def. up with the electronics. There's way to much noise with switches. What is your number should I ask for you. Thanks you.

I've had a couple of experiences with certain amps & guitars that were noisy at certain locations (plugs / circuits).
Have you tried changing all the other possibilities - cables, amp, power source...???

It always impresses me how the EBMM support guys care about us.
I've never seen anything like this on any other guitar company.
(Sorry for the off-topic comment, I had to write this.)

Yeah. I got off the phone with AJ. About my concerns and questions. He said he actually spoke with a designer of the majesty about my functionality concern. I have to say that EBMM are top of the line with CS. turns out this might be me being a bit sensitive with the ear. And not used to this new design. I have played many great and expensive guitars and a lot of times unfortunately they just might not be a fit for you. Not counting this majesty of course!
