Hello,

Just got Musicman Majesty "Siberian Sapphire",
and it's a really wonderful instrument.

One thing I noticed was, Ebony Fingerboard is little too Glossy/Wet,
like putting excessive amount of lemon oil or FingerEase.

Is that normal:confused:

It's no big deal, since I kinda like it, but was just wondering...

Also, it may have nothing to do with that,
but I just broke my high-E string on "Day 1".

It never happened before...

Mine is like that as well, I honestly liked it better before (like my JPXi) aesthetically.

Well that probably explains all the Majesty NGD threads lately..

If I were Batman I would indeed want a Majesty. ;)

Exactly.

I own a 200 Jackson Soloist SL1 USA, Suhr Strat, Gibson Les Paul Traditional and Esoterik DM-3. They are all well crafted guitars that are great to play.

But the Majesty is my primary go to guitar. The playability, sonic performance and sexy lines of the Polar Noir are a thing of aural and visual beauty to me.

And thats what really counts. ;)

adamrogo> Thanks. that explains it.

By the way, I broke ANOTHER High-E String today!!!
I was playing DT's "The Looking Glass" and it happened at exact same place! (CD Time: 3:32)
Never happened with my JP6 though... Now I'm scared to bend...

I love ebmm more than anybody! But i am not a fan of the guitar needing batteries to work, i know its way ahead of its time and has all sorts of active electronics, but i like the older JP models, im sure it plays amazing though, i think years from now when they are super rare people will be gassing for them then paying $6000!
