Hi All,
I hope you are all having a wonderful Memorial Day long weekend.
I'm trying out a Majesty and can't stop the fret buzz and the action is now ridiculously high (1/8" from top of fret to bottom of string at the 24th fret). The low E has a slight buzz if I hit it really hard open as well. I have given it relief and it is still buzzing from the first fret all the way up the neck much more on the low E, A, & D than the higher strings. I've even raised the bridge and it still buzzes and now the action is so high that it is hard to play and the strings are getting too far away from the pickups.
I have set up quite a few JP guitars in the past and can always get the fret buzz to stop with just a little truss rod adjustment neck relief.
What am i doing wrong or may the neck be twisted or something?
Should I try changing the strings although they seem new and 10-46 gauge?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
