Hey guys,

I’ve recently got a used Majesty and unfortunately discovered that the hole on the back of the tremolo (when I dive bomb) that is used to tighten/loosen the tremolo arm (sorry, I don‘t know what it‘s called exactly) is not as it should be. I’ve got another Majesty and I can see the difference. It appears that the previous owner somehow damaged the screw I guess. Is there anything I can do?

That's a bummer sorry to hear that. Is the set screw still in there?

I can't tell ... but if it's in there and stripped, maybe use a small reverse thread drill bit to get it out? Then replace it. Someone here may know the specs of the screw- otherwise email MM customer service and they can tell you what it is.

For a new screw you want an M3 x 0.5 x 3 mm. Getting the old screw out is the tricky part.
Easyouts might work, just have to be careful not to screw up the existing mounting threads in the block.

Thanks for the responses guys!

Turns out I found (by sheer luck) the missing screw on the floor of my living room. I tried to put it back with an allen key, but I couldn’t make it work and I didn’t want to risk damaging it.

I sent it to my guitar tech guy and I’ll let you know what happens next.

Yeah, I’m inserting the screw back, tightening it, but it doesn’t seem to be going all the way back to lock the tremolo arm. Is there anything else between the screw and the tremolo arm in that hole?
