Majesty video with Travis Larson

Travis - great song - saw you and Jennifer play it at Sweetwater about a year ago with JP in the crowd.

And... I've pre-ordered your new Shift Happens - is this one of the videos from that! Fingers crossed, it is! :)

Of course you've been going the piezo thing for years, but the sound you're getting here I'd say is clearer, crisper, and better. So at first I'd say it's just the Majesty, but listening to Shift it seems the same, which suggests you used the Majesty on the record.

I'm a big fan. Seen you twice now. Will see you again on the tour with Guthrie Govan.

Awesome! When was the switch to Majesty?

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the kind words and sorry to be out of this loop. I'm on a clinic tour this week. I started using the Majesty about a year ago for a lot of the high gain songs. I also still use the BFR a lot. To answer the piezo question about the record, I used the JP6 BFR in the studio before I had the Majesty but dial all my piezos to my ear so they sound pretty much the same live. The Mejesty electric tone has a little more bite to my ear and with the db boost, it's awesome for the shred stuff ;-)

I saw Travis in San Fran as opener for the Aristocrats. Whoa, the performance was amazing. Btw, he was mainly playing the Petrucci model and only on one song the Majesty. The only thing Travis might lack a bit is some sort of flashiness on stage. But truly a very good musician, and a nice and humble guy. Btw, his bassist Jennifer is also pretty amazing. And she plays EBMM instruments, too.

Got my signed copy of Shift Happens "Live in Mexicali" in the mail today - and I'm rocking - GREAT STUFF!!! :)
