OK, we know we all love the EBMM guitars or we wouldn't be here.
But for one minute I want you to dis-associate Ernie Ball Music Man Artists from their respective guitars.
What I want to know is which EBMM artist is your favourite?
How dare I make you choose! :D
Feel free to ramble and tell us why you made your choice.

Ok...I have to say Steve Lukather. No other reason except he is a monster.

I'm gonna go with Petrucci because he had a role in deciding to take that big scoop of wood out of the body of his sig. guitar, and that awesome tremolo that doesn't tear up your muting hand.

Oh, and he's a monster as well, but then, so are all the EBMM Signature artists.

Morse for me. Not only my fave mm artist, but my favorite guitar player/composer as well.

I'd sit and listen to all of them the entire day if they'd let me, though.
(Except I haven't heard Benji or Vinnie play)

Man....this is a tough one for me. IF I did not see Morse with my bro OC, I would pick Petrucci hands down. He is definitely on of my all time favs.....but Morse, my God. His abilities and talent in playing all genres of music at the show I saw was just simply amazing. I mean, Kbaim called me the next day and we just talked for quite awhile about the show. I would have to say, especially now, Morse is my favorite, but JP is not far behind.

I have to go with Petrucci when pressed, but I wanted to vote for him and Vinne Moore. Both have had a profound impact on my playing. I think one of the coolest things about Music Man endorsers is the overall talent level.

I had to pick VH because he's the reason I first owned a MM. Of course I now own a Morse and will be adding a Y2D (not a YZD as reported in a recent British mag).

Gotta go with Petrucci. I was floored the first time I heard Images and Words back in '93, and he never ceases to amaze and inspire me. Certainly my #1 guitar influence. Heh, I remember back in '94, all week I'd look forward to watching the Headbanger's Ball, just so I could see the "Lie" video, specifically the solo :)

I just heard JP solo album today. I enjoyed it, and I'd recommend listening to it with cans on. The production is as good as the playing.

John Petrucci is my favourite here, but from non- music man artists it will be Joe Satriani for sure

Wow...what flavor is best?

Right now I will go with John Petrucci. Only 'cause I listen to his new solo CD everyday and it's the flavor of guitar I live. By the way...the new DreamTheater was not what I had expected. I was looking for Train of Thought and beyond....oh well.

On other days I might say Steve Morse...the guys has it all...chops galore...and versality I have not heard from JP. Classical, Jazz, Country, Rock, Metal, Fusion...Steve Morse is just so awesome.

John Petrucci, because he's been one of my biggest influences, the reasons I even got into Musicman guitars.

I'm also a big fan of Steve Morse and Luke. Vinnie Moorse is also impressive.

Hell I love them all.

I was going to vote for EVH, he's the reason I became interested in EBMM, but it seems like he's become such a twit lately. And his sloppy drunken performance at the last concert I went to in St. Paul really left a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, I had loved this guy for years! I bought the original "Van Halen" record on vinyl when it was released! Yeah, I'm that old.

But now, as much as I love Petrucci, Morse and Lukather, I gotta say Vinne Moore! Why? This guy writes melodies that I find myself humming later. His playing is so tasteful and his writing and phrasing are just really solid. So, I'm voting for Vinne! But I will always love the Axises (plural?) as my favorite guitars.

I was torn between two artists Albert Lee and Eddie Van Halen... I know that EVH is no longer with EBMM; however, he is a major influence on me picking up a guitar. Albert Lee is just an amazing musician and I had an opportunity to meet him this week. So... it's a honest toss up.

EVH got my VOTE!
