Now after he dresses the frets, when the summer comes, and the bass humidifies itself, you will then have the opposite of fret sprout, fret shortage. ???

Now's a good time to find a name for short frets ........

Now you know why I didn't send the Warwick in for a dressing, I knew it would self heal.

PS I visited Manny's Music in NYC last year to attend a Tony Franklin seminar. They had a hand made Smith bass hanging there with the worst case of fret sprout I've ever seen. The bass was right under a heating vent and no one cared.

Yeah, but the sprout is barely even visable, so I expect (hope) that the shortage will not bother me. And really, it's winter here most of the time, and the summers are generaly not that humid.

Guess I'm a wuss ;)
