Guys thanks for your amazing comments! :)

I tried to make a simple and slow paced solo. fast ones lose the 'groove' element'.
I have to tell you though that I was groovin' without using the G string at all because it was broken before the recording :( . This is another reason I didn't use any machine gun triplets etc. Also I did some mistakes because I had to stay on EAD and also get used to the thinner neck. Anyway.

The drum track is a loop from Reason that I imported to ProTools.

Thanks again!

I'll be back with some fast paced clips very soon(next week)!!
And pics of my baby.

Also a VERY great thanks to Cwgworkman for hosting my music.

Hey Manta! Great thumpin' brotha!:D:D:D Sorry but I Just got this file to work. My stupid new computer's all high tech and crap. Anyhow, that's the greatest sound I've heard a Sterling produce in a while. Thanks for sharing, you've reminded me how much I love slap and inspired me to pick up my bass and slap it hard next time I play.

Very nice dude! Simply awe-inspiring :D

Edit: Oh yeah, btw, I got a few questions for you Mantaray.

1) Could you elaborate on your rig / recording method?
2) Is your Sterling a Maple board or Rosewood one? :)

sounds great!

What drum machine are you using? I've been looking for a decent one, and have been considering a Boss dr770, but haven't test driven any, really.

Thanks

I've found two things that work well. If you don't do programming you can find an old roland personal groove box (I think thats what they are called) for really cheap (I got mine for 25 bucks at a yard sale), but if you do programming with a sampler, Akai is the way to go. Ah sorry for hijacking.

I've got a DR-770 and it is fantastic! You can play realtime or program the patterns.
