Maple vs rosewood board on a Reflex

I'm about to buy a Reflex but before I do was wondering if anyone can comment on the sonic differences between the rosewood and maple board. I know the general tonality and differences of these woods, but would like to hear from anyone who has played both on a Reflex. Thanks....

I don't believe the Reflex is available in a Maple fingerboard. You can look on the instrument page link to view the Specs. thats available.

The reflex is available with a maple board, however I think its just that so many knuckleheads here jumped on board with the 25th that many of us have no need for the reflex (same instrument, different name) though I'd like another back up one in the future.

You can ask folks about people and their 25ths that also came in RW and Maple. Though I'm certain the tonal difference wont be that drastic. I have one with rosewood and its smooth and round. But again, I have no real basis for comparison.

I have a 25th in Maple board and a Reflex in Rosewood. As far as a tonal contrast, there's almost no noticeable difference. I've played nothing but Rosewood boards my whole life until I bought the 25th. Their setups are as near identical as can be( I did them myself) and the 25th just plays better. I love the unfinished Maple neck on a Ball. Perhaps the very slight tonal difference that I detect is a result of neck comfort, not wood difference.Hope this helps. Either way, the guitar screams!!!!

I had owned a RW board 25th and now a maple board 25th, and I prefer the sound of the maple board. One of the main reasons why I love my Axis guitars so much!
