WOW!! I haven't settled down to take my own pics yet.. I've been too busy playing this puppy. I've never owned a 4 string that I just fell in love with, but after a few hours playing this bad boy last night, I'm fairly confident I've my one and only 4 string "Keeper". I was a little suprised at how "bright" this bass was. (Even though many on the board here told me the Sterling was a little brighter than the 'Rays. But it was a useable bright. Although, after turning down the treble just a tad, and giving a slight boost to the bass.. I found my tone!!! And the 5 position switch is sooo sweet.

Why haven't ya'll been singing the praises of the HS combo?? Huh???

I am sooo pleased with my recent purchases. My Ray is incredible, and just feels like home. This Sterling is amazing.... the Bongo & I are still courting... it's a wierd relationship. I don't dig it too much in rehearsal.. but live.. it just kicks azz.

Thanks to all you forumites.. your help has been great.

Dude, you obviously have not heard from phatty on this subject:rolleyes:

I like position #3 most on the HS.

Nice bass, but like BP I just cannot go for that color:eek: ;)

This DD thing will pass and we will awaken soon to a NEW DAWN:cool:

Just hope I can thin out the herd in time to get one, but it will be a Bongo 4H , I hope, I hope, I hope  ;)
