Mark's frequented the Tb forums for a bit now..very cool dude..glad to see he made it over here... LOL my daughter has the same Sesame Street vid with them on it... I think I remember reading he uses the sweatbands kind of like a mute of sorts...im sure he'll chime in to verify.

O.K. I'm finally going to ask: what's the sweatband on the headstock for?

I think they're used to mute the strings. When I saw Victor Wooten's band a couple times, his brother used them on his guitar, which helps keep the strings from buzzing/ringing/etc. If you've seen the guy play guitar, you understand why he needs them!

I wrote the Doctors off for few years after Two Princes got overplayed in TV and radio (yes that was really back in the day huh?). I enjoy them again though.
