Not sure if this is against forum rules, so if it is I'm sorry and have a mod delete. I've had my eye on a markbass little 800. I've tried them with my rays, and they compliment each other very well. I play a lot of outdoor gigs. Will the LM800 with a 8 ohm cab be loud enough? I haven't been able to crank one up.

I recently switched to the LMT 800. I find that it is especially nice with just an 8ohm cabinet. I've found with my basses (Big Al and Classic Ray) that the Gain has less threshold and clips more at 4ohms than it does at 8ohms, esp. with the 18v preamp on the Al. I use an 8 ohm 4x10 for 90% of my gigs. I like it quite a lot and it sits beautifully in the mix. I believe it delivers only 350 at 8ohms, so you have plenty of headroom.
Try a 4 ohm cabinet if the 8ohms aren't working for you outdoors.
