Pete, is that a 12 or 15 in?

Would love to see some video - esp if you can a/b it against something else!

if that is a 15...then the combo is gonna be like four and a half feet tall!

As for the PJB, I honestly lmfao when I first saw them.

Please, someone tell me there is a reason for that many tweeters, or 8s or whatever they are,
can't bring myself to actually plug into one

I know I shouldn't!
But it's REALLY hard to get away from my love of 22inch house subs!

Even my Eden 12 practice/small gig combo just isn't enough for me. Not with an SR5 HH!
I'm sorry.
Playing upright just reinforces my love of bass that's felt, then heard.

Does the markbass 12 combo push a low B with gusto?

My problem with MarkBass is it still has a very limited distribution. None here in the Cleveland GC, or any other GC close. So, I bought a Walkabout Scout instead, was able to play my SR5 HH through one & loved what I heard.

You can order from any of the GC's that have Markbass products. They'll ship it to you for a small fee(I think it was 6 bucks for shipping on my LittleMarkII). If you don't like it, return it to your local GC. It's simple.

I ordered mine and a T102P from the Mayfield Hts (Cleveland OH) GC who had it shipped in from Las Vegas.

Road tested it Wed nite for a 3 hr gig. Had an Avatar 15 along with the MB 2x10 but was a bit too boomy so disconected it after the first set and the 300 Watts into the T102P alone worked just fine.

I ordered my LittleMark II thru my local GC, it came from Texas. Once my sales guy got his act together it came pretty quick. He's got me a MarkBass gig bag coming too.

My next MarkBass amp is going to be one with the magic knobs, but with that mid EQ section like my older MarkBass Club 450 has, there is a lot of magic in that section too. I think the SD800 has them. Good stuff!

I've become rather attatched to this Walkabout Scout now, I've never heard a Mark, but for my $$$ I think it would be hard to top this little thing....& it actually fits in the trunk of my car.

OK, first preliminary observations:

It is the CMD121H (1x12" combo NOT the mini 1x12" though), I was a dummy last night and parked in the parkade at the casino... which meant hauling it with my double gig bag from Level 3 all the way into the casino THEN (because I was at the wrong end of the casino) walk 2/3rds of the length of the casino to get to the lounge.......... all I can say is that a cart or whels would have been nice but I wasn't dead either, it really is a nice light manageable weight (the suitcase would have killed me)
And again, although it has a tiny footprint, it was more than loud enough for a very loud stage. When I'd go and start ridin' the 'B' it was nice and tight and growling! So far so good with the MarkBass!

the ONLY con I've encountered is that my ears still do prefer the sound of the PJB gear when everything is set flat. I do have to reach for the eq a little bit quicker on the Mark than on the PJB BUT!!!! not much eq'ing has to go into the Mark to get it to where I'm grinning from ear to ear.

I'll try to get some sound/video together in the next couple of weeks.
