Stupid question...is that painted on the pickguard or you just put the page\photo UNDER the pickguard?

I've thought about doing something like that in the way of Capt. America's shield.

is just an illustrated photo underneath it look awsome and you canot understand the difference. Thing is to cut this nice with a razor blade and keep this to detail. at the end you screw this to the bass. Clear pickguard was with the bass when i bought it. As you can see only non original is the pickguard. I am sure you can get one from a plexy glass store cut it for you..
