The phone camera doesn't do it justice.

Nice!! The back of that neck is gorgeous. Ebony board?
Mine also has piezzos which sound pretty fantastic.
Enjoy.

1st of all, congrats! the axe looks killer!

but maybe BP can tell us, what kind of special run this is from, because the neck looks like it was taken off a 2010 Black Sugar (sanded off the clear coat) and put on a solar burst bfr.

Thanks folks! I'm loving this guitar. Couldn't believe my luck in finding it. BTW, I also picked up an Arctic Dream Majesty 6 this past week. I need to post a pic of my 6 guitars together.

I'm thinking you're correct. Based on the reply I got from my serial number post, this guitar originally had a matching headstock and a rosewood board. This board sure looks like ebony to me. Looks like the neck was definitely swapped from something else. No matter, because I love this neck and fingerboard.

This neck came from a 2010 black sugar guitar! Originally they were finished with a clear coat. So i was sanded down to get the bare wood feeling. That's cool. And of course, it's a roasted neck, which is even cooler!
