Does anyone remember the story behind the matchbox twenty Mad Season Silhouette that was produced a few years ago? Were they custom ordered from the record company and released for promotion and contests? Or were they actually sold in small amounts? They came in white and black.

I've been looking for one for years and I'm upset to find that I've missed out on one on eBay the other day.

yeah Matchbox 20 came out of nowhere and one of the guitarists was using a silo....they then wanted to use the guitar as a promo....of course they got sold instead of kept and the guitar player I think got an endorsement with Fender.

MB 20 is my lady's favorite band.

We went to see them in March of '08 and I don't remember a musicman being played.

Might have made the switch before then...and our seats were pretty far back though.
