I'm still new here, but since I raved about my new StingRay5 HH - the Guitar Center 45th anniversary model - I decided to show you all what it looked like in action this weekend.

They liked it ... I LOVED it! I must admit, I haven't played a 5 string in 15-20 years and it came right back to me. This bass was smooth as silk. I don't know if it was the excitement of the new guitar, the set up, the neck, the extra string, whatever, but I was flying all over the neck (in a tasteful way of course). Never before have I bought a bass and been so sure I made the right choice. This bass is top notch. And, I must admit, it looks damn cool!

It's official ... I'm hooked on the Music Man Bass!

I dig the BCB finish... GC had a SR4 anniversary up here in emerald city that sounded stellar; it had cool inlays as well. Congrats, and good to see you not hesitating to gig it right away.

How could I NOT gig it right away?!? I am kidding. I actually considered leaving it home until I had a chance to figure how/where the 5th string would work into some tunes, but it was a benefit show that we were the closing act for, so ... I mean ... I kinda had to show it off no?

5. Give us a quick run-down of your equipment.
"My main basses are my Sting Ray 5 string and a Fender Jazz..."

hehehe

I like how quickly you've updated your band profile info.

Too soon? :) I might have to change "and a Fender Jazz" to "and a backup Fender thingie..."

Yeah, I'm actually looking forward to rehearsal this week just so I can play it for three uninterrupted hours!

I am not only Rock Box's bassist, but their marketer, so all the web stuff, logos, tee shirts, etc. is me. So, I changed my profile right quick last night!
