Hey Y'all EBMM forumites!

Hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend. I did, and now I don't feel like going to work and school today. Someone's been playing the blues in my head :(

On the positive side, I played my Pet for a long time over the weekend and felt great about it :) What did you guys do over the long weekend?

Yo,

I know what you mean.

I worked on Saturday, did the BBQ circuit on Sunday, and basically just sat on my butt yesterday. I did manage to complete a pickup swap on my AL.

Crazy weekend... I'm glad to be back to work, I can use the rest.

We had a graduation party for my step-daughter on Sunday and I was the BBQ chef for about 150 people. Burgers, hot dogs, brats and chicken. Started setting up at 10:30AM and got to bed at 1AM. Whoooo. What a long day, thank goodness for the day off yesterday.

I did get a chance to play yesterday afternoon once I shook the cobwebs from the brain. I'm still enjoying the hell out of the BD Silo, I can't seem to put it down, I love how that things plays.

Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyeable weekend. Welcome back.

I played a lot of guitar and basically blew off working on my dissertation, which is not too smart since I'll be defending it at the end of the summer. I picked up my Carvin 7-string and played that a bunch (mainly because the strings on my EB need to be changed and I was too lazy to do it)- made up a little melody that I liked, then didn't like, then liked again, and like everything else, left it unfinished. Also recorded a little mellow blurb to practice improvising over: http://www.math.colostate.edu/~eastman

the "MM.*" posts are from this morning, old strings on my EB still there. I know the dirty lead blows, but I had to quit and come to work at some point.

Tommy,
No problem. My BBQ chicken kicks ass. I had some left over from the party and cooked up about 20 pieces yesterday and had Kim's sister and niece calling over to get some more. They live 3 doors down and could smell it cooking. Mooches...

A man and his Weber charcoal grill, it's a beautiful thing...
