We are still deciding what new colors will stay or go. I guess we will know in the next month what our color chart will look like and then create a new one. Stay tuned. I can say for sure if Medallion stays it will be avaliable on all basses.
It certainly is--I saw a SR5 in Medallion Gold with a Pearl pg at the local Guitar Center. It was very nice--I almost went with that scheme on my new fretless Bongo, but ended up going with white, instead.
Someone here does have a Medallion Gold Bong on the way, though... I can't wait to see pics!
hmmm.... to me that looks like it has sparkles in it. are you trying to slowly bring back the sparkles? i want a blue dawn stingray. i want it now! so how is that working. you say the sparkle finishes are discontinued, but yet it looks like your making them anyway. what is going on here?
The sparklets were discontinued because of the problems they raised when trying to get the machines to paint regular colors. But you're right - some of these colors that are still in production are sparkly to some extend. So... why not go the whole mile and reintroduce that lovely blue sparkle?! Please?
Hey Derek,
Post a picture of the cinnamon I have on order and let me compare the two colors.Put them side by side if you can, shucks let's do this up right

I edited, punched wrong button and it went away, so here goes again.
I have been sitting here looking at the cinnamon in the propaganda I picked up at the Dallas show and then switching back to the gold. I think I will stick with the cinnamon (man, I hope the color is true in the magazine). Matter of fact it's been almost six weeks since I ordered, I'm just sitting and waiting.

ok i knew they caused problems for the regular colors. but since theyre still making production sparkle finishes why not just buy another paint gun/sprayer thing and start making them again. there are some of us that really really want a brand new mm with a sparkle finish. its like theyre teasing us.
