Hi Colin
From what I've gathered the Stiletto (ace?) is all over Andy Timmon's latest CD release and if you can get the John Petrucci edition of Guitar World (the one where he teaches the solo to Under a Glass Moon), that is a Stiletto Ace Combo.
Also, try the Boogie Board forum; I'm sure there are sound clips of the Stiletto and the Ace there.
Jimmy-Jengas: the Z amps are nice - I tried out the Maz18 for a while but I couldn't get on with the amount of treble it put out. It was great for spanking out those chicken-picking country licks (if that's one's thing) but I prefer my Boogies for what I play. I did once have a Boogie Solo Rectifier which I just couldn't get into (not at the volumes I play...maybe for big gigs requiring lots of headroom), it was too buzzy for me. The Stiletto Ace on the other hand...
I think the chosen application for the amp is such a crucial deciding factor - I don't the Z's can be beat for blues/country type music (unless it's a Boogie Lonestar, which gives them a good run for their money)
