because he is crimson and he has strong opinions.... with Jp you never know...He might even surprise you guys and bring the scoop back for a song or two....He still jloves his guitars and he has a boatload of them!

He was inspired by the 25th...I sent all the artists one as a thanks for being with us and he loved it so thats When I said that Ill make him one and on ething led to another.

Well, it's just common sense to me. DaPatrooch simply said he was wondering if Petrucci might go to the JPX exclusively for the next tour. You just have to look at what the odds are for that. The BFR has currently been his main guitar for a good couple of years now and he has stated over and over again about how much he LOVES it. The JPX is a different beast with having a chambered body and it being a "one-off" (with only one color being available)guitar to celebrate the 10 years he has been with Music Man. So, it only makes sense that Petrucci would use the JPX for a select number of songs, while he continues to use the BFR for the majority of all the songs. I've heard the interviews, he's praised the BFR time and time again....that ain't gonna change.

As far as bringing the "scoop" back, that would not surprise me one bit,....hell, I'd expect him to on a couple of songs. Not just because it still works for him, but being an endorser for Music Man....it helps when he is pictured and seen playing ALL available instruments that are in his name...in order to help sell ALL of them to the general public.

But, sure....you have the argument, "Well, you are not Petrucci, how do you know what he is gonna do". Yes, I'm not him. But, in life...some things come to us, that are more apparent that others. It's really a matter of common sense as to what the odds would favor. As in, "I don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows." I mean really...who here thinks that JP will only play the JPX exclusively on the next tour? Yeah, it could happen....but, come on.

One thing that I would leave open for a "slight" possibility: If JP got to where he loved the body shape more on the JPX than the BFR. I could see the possibility where he might dispatch EBMM to change the BFR to the JPX shape, but without a chambered body. I don't forsee that to happen, but on something like that....it could be a possibility. I hope not though.

That was cool of JP. I don't think he will exclusively use the JPX on the next tour. I think (can't speak for the man himself though) he will use a combination of JP's, BRF's, and JPX's as he sees fit. If he uses only one...so be it. His music, his guitar, his show. I just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I could see him using it quite a bit, but he does bring back the older ones every once in a while. He played his blue sparkly double neck on this last tour. That one's based on the original JP. I’m thinking Poppa and crew would have made him one like his BFRs if he'd asked, but he brought that one back instead.

I just figured everyone would know that whatever I say would be my opinion, projection, or idea. It's a forum, and obviously whatever I say isn't written in stone. (Except for Hiland playing for Music Man ;-) )

But, I would be MORE than happy to take that bet if you want to go there! JPX being played 70% of the time? Place your bets gentlemen!

crimson Its a forum and it isnt much different than standing in front of them...you have gotten in deep water beause you hijack and then attack and then when it comes back on you you want the hijack to end....I warned you earlier in the week, beej has and you didnt listen and youve pissed people off.

I actually like you. You piss me off sometimes but I think that you mean well I think you need to adjust your filter and I think that everyone else just might also. Think of barging in someones living room and calling them ass kissers and correcting someone with an idea as you position yourself as absolutly correct....

Wow, I didn't know about the amount of involvement from everybody. We're all here because we love guitars, music and arguing ( ;) ) I read all BP's blogs and the passion around this forum is unlike any other and it fascinates me. Please, keep on the good job, because you sure won me over.
