Metalzone is for KIDS

That's what I've always heard. I picked up a metalzone years ago and totally agreed. Fairly cheesy buzz saw effect. Well, I did happen to spy one in a few petrucci rig pics, so I did some more homework. Found out that Keeley does a MT2 makeover for only $75 that sounded intriguing. I have my Cleans, blues tones and liquid leads, but there was the WICKED tone that I was missing.
So I let the Keeley squad mod my metalzone. It came back yesterday (qualifying as a Christmas present).
MAN WHAT A WEAPON now! It slays! This pedal doesn't come close to sounding like it did at the boss factory. I highly recommend this mod if you have one of those depressing old buzzsaws hanging around. I'll try to post some clips on Chrismas break. My main rig is JP6 into LONESTAR.

It's super worth it! I have a bunch of Keeleys, I think they are just great!

You might want to check out a MIJ DS1 too, it's different sounding than the modded Keeley.

The Keeley MT2 is just so good!

Ah... My bad... Didn't notice that you're from Thailand...

I guess the only way to get it is to get a new one from Keeley...
And sell of your stock DS1 to recuperate any money spent on the Keeley...

That being said, there are many pedal modders that can mod your DS1 to Keeley's spec...

I can't vouch for the other ones, but this gets you into the JP zone with a lil 'ol lonestar.
